This Is Heaven
You could tell me this isn’t heaven but I wouldn’t believe you,
In fact, knowing this is heaven may be the one thing I know to be true.
I can tell you this is heaven by the way the sun rises every single day,
Only to kiss my skin and all of my worries outweigh.
I can tell you this is heaven by the roar of that mighty Ohio River,
Whose gleaming glory makes my restless heart quiver.
I can tell you this is heaven by the roll each and every hill,
How they tower into the sky and how they bring me a chill.
I can tell you this is heaven because there’s beauty as far as the eye can see,
That peace in knowing it was made for you and for me.
Perhaps I know it’s heaven because it seems to be something only a few of us can see,
And it seems as though this glorious world is all for you and all for me.
