Spring Has Just Begun

Around me the snow begins to melt
Bringing about feelings of summer joy I haven’t in so long felt

The sun starts to shine bright through each and every tree
Filling all of us with this endless amounts of glee

Sun shines bright on my old Kentucky home
People coming out of their boxes just to roam
Smiles on so many faces you’d think it’s a syndrome

Galavanting through the city park
You see that feeling of bliss begin to spark

Out of winter’s darkness we come
Remembering that feeling of spring that we came from

Welcome back my beautiful sun
I feel so grateful, and spring has only just begun
