Another year comes and it goes
Another year through life’s ups and downs each of us flows

I lay another year to rest
Thinking, my God, another year that was truly the best

So many new memories made
While the old ones never seem to fade

I’ve shared laughs, I’ve endured loss, and I’ve experienced love
Raising a glass each day to the beautiful sky above

I couldn’t be more grateful for every passing day
For with the rising of each new sun is a perfect chance to play

I suppose with that I should say, happy birthday to me
Thank you for another chance to feel so incredibly free
