From the Plains to the Mountains

From the plains to the mountains
Each exploding with perfection like fountains

Snow covered majestic perfection
Timeless in each and every section

What an unimaginable world
Such unforgettable place into which each of us was hurled

Flying over the Rockies all the way through to the Grand Canyon and onto the desert sand
My God, moments like this I wish I could forever hold in my hand

The arms of those mountain peaks reach out into the sky
I’m happy just to get to see them as I fly

Up here, there’s a silence
Reminding me of our purity in existence

I’m off to see the next one
I’m off to do what I’ve always done
To make this life of mine second to none
