The Great White Heron

As the great white heron flies, she reminds me what it means to be alive
For every moment to be full of love, for this I strive

Through the good and the bad
Even though sometimes life can be sad
For every new second, just to be here, I’m so glad

Tough times come and they go
Though through life, I’ll still flow

Mighty white heron, forever spread your wings
For through you, I remember to appreciate the little things
